Principal Statistician/Data Scientist - Advanced Analytics Consulting/Solutions

- Ability to mine unstructured data, including Text Mining using statistical tools

- Ability to integrate unstructured data analytics with structured data to build predictive models

- Ability to understand and analyze data models how the data is stored in relational databases

- Ability to understand system integration aspects of integrating model input and output in transactional systems to help real time decision making

- 8 to 10Years of experience in advanced analytics, on hands experience in predictive modeling, data management and manipulation

- 4 to 5 years of hands on experience on R,SAS, Metlaband other statistical tools

- Experience working with large data sets, experience working with distributed computing tools like Map/Reduce, Hadoop, Hive, Pig etc.

- Solid understanding of programming logic and various paradigms

- Answer business questions by using appropriate statistical techniques on available data

- Communicate findings to both business and technical audiences

- Develop best practices for instrumentation and experimentation and communicate those to solution deliver teams

- Experience in Segmentation, Logistic Regression, Time Series forecasting, Decision Tree, Chaid, Cart etc

- Good understanding software application architecture and develop integration approaches for predictive models.
