Principal/ Staff Engineer - User Interface/ Web Development

Job Title : Staff Engineer - UI / Web development

Position Description :

Opportunity for a staff engineer to join a fast-paced startup like environment for a India based retailer. Candidate will be responsible for developing technical architectures to implement a omnichannel platform spanning multiple business domains, platforms and technologies.

Essential Job Functions :

- Works with product development, UX teams and senior designers to develop architectural requirements to ensure client satisfaction with product

- Plans technical support infrastructure through the creation of service level agreements; leads the transition from application development to support to ensure that appropriate support is available to clients in a timely and efficient manner.

- Determines operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.

- Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments.

- Provides hands on development support based on the project needs including prototyping new frameworks and technologies.

- Influence and lead strong technical teams

Required Skills :

- HTML5, CSS3, Java Script, JQuery

- Experience in one of the frameworks like Angular.js or Backbone.js

- Solid experience with Servlets and JSP including EL, Java-based MVC framework (Spring); JavaScript and AJAX, DOM, JQuery and JSON; Unix/Linux; SQL and RDBMS and MYSQL and /or oracle a plus.

- Experience in core java

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with web sockets

- Experience in frameworks like twitter bootstrap

- Familiarity with Responsive and Adaptive designs

Total and relevant experience : 8 to 15 years

Minimum Qualification : BE/BTech CS, MCA
