Principal Software Engineer/Technical Architect - Online/Internet

We are looking for strong technically hands on Principal Software Engineer/Technical Architect.

The incumbent would be :

- Excellent Problem Solving skills for complex and large scale problems.

- Technical Breadth, Exposure to a wide variety of problem spaces, technologies.

- Very Strong System design and OO skills with a nifty ability to craft clean interfaces and operate at the right levels of abstraction.

- Solid coding skills with ability to drive teams through massive refactoring exercise and improve coding standards across large code bases.

- Deep knowledge, understanding and experience of working with a large variety of multi-tier architectures. Awareness of pitfalls and use cases for a large variety of solutions.

- Deep understanding and experience of high performance web scale and real-time response systems.

- Experience and expertise in a variety of large scale persistent systems including large databases.

- Exposure to complete product development cycles - From inception to production to scaling up, supporting new requirements, re-architectures the Architects should have seen it all and ideally in multiple cycles.

Desired Skills and Experience :

- 7 years + experience in Software development

- Is strong on Design and programming

- Must haves: strong in Java, J2ee, Spring MVC, Webservices, JSON, AJAX, Hibernate

- Must be strong in UML and design patterns, SQL, RDBMS

- Implementing and deploying quality products using Agile methodologies with opensource technologies like Java, J2EE, Maven, Tomcat, Hadoop, R, SAS, Mahout, Spring MVC, Webservices, and Hibernate
