Principal Recruitment Consultant - Leadership Hiring - Executive Search Firm (6-15 yrs)

What do you drive for us?

- The people we are looking for, will be responsible for contributing, executing and evolving all aspects related to Randstad India's Executive Search Business strategy. These roles are critical to Randstad India's overall Strategic Plan, in particular the ambition to maximize candidate & client value proposition by becoming 'the most trusted' company in India. These new colleagues who will join us, will have the opportunity to contribute & develop a new executive search business strategy for Randstad India. In doing so, she/he will evolve the role of Randstad from a business primarily concerned with providing staffing and recruitment solutions to an enabler of our value proposition: an authoritative source and a global reference point for end to end workforce solutions & knowledge; in line with our 3P approach - People, Profits, Planet

- The incumbents will work closely with the Director of Executive Search and other functions like marketing, HR, BCD, & finance to realize the overall vision and mission of the LOB. The collaborative and consultative nature of the role requires a capacity to work with people at all levels in the organization and with people from many cultural backgrounds.

- She / he will also coordinate (when necessary) with Randstad Colleagues from across the globe.

What a typical day at work would look like?

- Contribute to and drive the LOB's overall business strategy and roadmap

- Review existing internal business processes and identify areas of improvement to suite the needs of executive search

- Prospect and position Randstad as an executive search Partner who solves customer problems related to their leadership Hiring needs

- Devise and carry out a targeted research strategy for every position in cohorts with the research team

- Research into clients company, competitors and market place

- Map role criteria, define position description and document specifications

- Track and identify prospective candidates using a variety of channels mainly Head Hunting & Networking

- Assess candidates to ensure qualification match, cultural fit and compatibility

- Conduct confidential interviews, follow-up references and check credits

- Present shortlisted candidates and provide detailed profile summaries

- Offer guidance and facilitate the negotiation process through to its completion

- Follow up with clients and assist with the candidate's transition and onboarding process

- Network and build long-lasting client relationships

- Know & always display your area of expertise (specialized industry or job function)

Skills / Experience needed shall be:

- Proven working experience in executive search, especially in business development for search services above INR 7.5 Million annual salary jobs

- Deep understanding of the leadership hiring processes, latest methodologies & best practices

- Proficiency in managing very senior stakeholders - CXO levels

- Strong knowledge of candidates selection methods

- Excellent knowledge of area of expertise (market status, trends, best practices)

- Client focus along with relationship building skills

- Business acumen and market insight

- Effective negotiation, influencing and communication skills

- Integrity and confidentiality

What do you bring with you?

- Education Qualifications: Degree in engineering / business & an MBA will be preferred

- Experience: Minimum 6 + years of experience in Executive Search
