Client Details
Client is transportation network company with headquarters in Bangalore.
Description
Work on:
Operations research tools like mathematical programming (linear & non-linear techniques), vehicle routing & scheduling models & simulation, transportation & vehicle facility location problems, design &optimization of transportation & delivery networks and fleet management.
Profile
Masters or PhD in Computer Science, Operations Research, Applied Mathematics/Statistics/Econometrics, Electrical or Systems Engineering, Physics or similarly highly quantitative field. (PhD strongly preferred).
- 5+ years of industrial experience in production modeling and analysis, predictive software development
- Good skills with Java or C++, Perl/Python (or similar scripting language)
- Extensive experience using R, Matlab, or similar open source statistical software e.g., scikit-learn, Weka, etc. building production quality models
- Experience in mentoring junior team members, and guiding them on machine learning and data modeling applications
- Strong communication and data presentation skills
- Well developed ability to transform business requirements into fundamental data science framework, and then implement the results in efficient, scalable software
