Principal Officer - Financial Modelling - Property Investment Advisor Firm

Job Responsibilities :

- To support company's clients with transaction advisory modelling e.g. cost inputs, revenue forecasts and model assumption.

- Build new, complex, long-term financial models looking at growth assumptions ensuring that key model metrics (e.g. free cashflow, Debt Service Coverage Ratio and Return on Invested Capital) are incorporated.

- Adapt and improve existing financial models, looking at fundamental areas such as Profit & Loss, balance sheet and cash flow projections, to help develop or rebuild them.

- Develop and upgrade financial models in accordance with best practice spreadsheet modelling standards to ensure that they are user friendly for experienced users, novices and senior managers and sufficiently robust to be reused over multiple cycles with minimal redevelopment.

- Provide modelling and excel support and coach / share knowledge with colleagues.

- Support the business by building ad-hoc financial models for other projects and teams as needed (e.g. strategic CAPEX investment cases, procurement, facilities, other).

- Lead the development of infrastructure scheme business cases with a particular focus on the Financial Case.

- As part of the wider economics and strategic consulting team, helping to shape the work to deliver the team's overall objectives.
