Principal Officer & Equity Trader - Gift City

- Setting up and launching the Alternative Investment Fund Category III, Long-Short Strategy (Restricted Scheme - Non-Retail) and Registered FME (Non-Retail) of the Investment Manager The Investment Trust of India Ltd.

- Collaborate with the Fund Manager & Investment Team to develop and implement investment strategies, monitor the fund's performance, and ensure adherence to investment guidelines and objectives.

- Collaborate with external partners, including legal firms, tax consultants and other advisors to ensure the seamless incorporation and launch of the Fund.

- Conduct initial research on various investment strategies, asset classes, and markets to identify potential investment opportunities with objective of right product available and maximize returns for the investors.

- Responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines issued by IFSCA and other regulatory authorities and keep abreast of regulatory changes and ensure that the AIF's operations are in line with the prescribed regulations.

- Responsible for identifying and managing risks associated with the AIF's Investment and operations, along with Compliance and Risk Officer establish risk management frameworks, monitor risks, and implement appropriate risk mitigation strategies to safeguard the interests of investors.

- Maintains relationships with existing and potential investors of the AIF and address investor queries, provide information, and ensure transparency in communications.

- After successful launch of the fund, actively involve in Investment and trading role like executing Equities, Derivatives, G-Sec and Forex trades on behalf of the fund by coordinating with different counterparts. Also, will be responsible for post market activities like trade reporting to custodian, PCM and Fund accounting team to ensure settlement of all trades and issuance of NAV in timely manner.

- Overall, responsible for all activities related to Investment, Compliance, operation and any other activities of the fund at GIFT IFSC.
