Principal Engineer - Big Data

My Client is one of India's leading private life insurance companies, offers a range of individual and group insurance solutions.

An accomplished data engineer with hands-on experience in BFSI domain building and managing data pipelines, data architecture and good experience in AWS.

Responsibilities

Manage internal and external stakeholders, interact with business and drive weekly cadence meetings related to data governance, optimize existing data pipelinesand build advance and scalable architecture

- Build and manage a team of 5-6 data engineers, act as a technical leader for resolving problems

Qualifications

Education: BE/B.Tech/ MBA is a must

- Work exp:8 - 12 years

Work related skills:

- Expert level proficiency in SQL and Python

- Strong understanding of big data technologies like Spark, Hive, Kafka

- Proficiency in AWS analytics services like Amazon Athena, Amazon Redshift etc.

- Excellent problem solving and communication skills
