Principal Data Scientist - HR Analytics - BFSI

Position: Principal Data Scientist - People Analytics reporting to the Divisional Head-D & A

Total experience:6-9 years of which 4+ years of relevant experience in talent/people analytics function of large field teams spread across multiple geographies

Key Responsibilities

1.Work with large, complex data sets. Solve difficult, non-routine analysis problems, applying advanced analytical methods

2. Perform end-to-end analysis that includes data gathering and requirements specification, processing, analysis and efficient reporting

3. Apply predictive analytics to provide people trends and insights to the organization

4. Manage people analytics governance, ensuring all projects are prioritized by business value and aligned with other analytics projects in the organization

5. Develops proof of concept to prove or disprove validity of concept

6. Ability to pull disparate data points and research together to tell compelling stories and influence leaders

7. Provide strategic frameworks for statistical data modeling of critical workforce metrics such as hiring, attrition, performance, L&D and diversity

8. Deliver concise verbal and written explanations of analyses to senior management that translate findings into strategic recommendations

- Statistical Modelling & Machine Learning: Regression, Classification, Clustering, Survival

Analysis, Time Series Analysis, ANOVA, Predictive & Prescriptive Analytics, Parametric and Non-Parametric Models, Supervised and Unsupervised ML, NLP, Text Analytics, Data/Text Mining, Neural Networks

- Communication skills with excellent articulation and an ability to partner effectively across the organization

- Able to work with a high degree of complexity and at times, uncertainty, and working with multiple stakeholders who may have limited analytics exposure and understanding

- Approach analytics projects with business value that the project would give to an organization

- Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized

- Ability to think creatively and problem solve; highly-driven and self-motivated

- Demonstrated ability to be hands-on team member

- Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize work to deliver projects on time

- Good to have exposure on Automobile and NBFC industry
