Principal Data Scientist - eCommerce

We are looking for Data Scientists for a leading E-commerce company.

Role & Responsibilities - Principal Data Scientist

- Define the roadmap and solutions for AI / ML techniques to meet the demands of business requirements

- Integrate advanced AI / ML into end-to-end business intelligence solutions and operational business processes

- Devise sophisticated AI / ML techniques and build ML models, as required, to aid in the solution development.

- Gain deep understanding of the domain and core business processes to transform core technological opportunities and business challenges by leveraging AI and ML solutions

- Lead teams of data scientists, data engineers and software engineers to deliver solutions for different business units within

- Guide the Data Science teams at to design and develop systemic intelligence solutions, focused on advancing the state-of-the-art in e-commerce

- Design and map the end-to-end journey of solutions built on the foundations of Predictive Modelling, NLP, Text Mining, Image Processing (Computer Vision), Classification, Regression, Deep Learning and other Machine-Learning-driven techniques

- Drive solutions / projects by applying Systemic Intelligence and Data-Driven Processes with an objective to deliver unparalleled customer experience Explore and test emerging Data Science technologies and techniques to evaluate new opportunities and innovations relevant to problem statements

- Collaboration with the engineering and product teams to ensure a holistic outcome at the product delivery front

- Provide mentorship and hands-on guidance to your team in the application of advanced AI / ML techniques

- Provide technical oversight to others on Design, System Architecture and Data Modelling

- Proactively encourage membership and contributions of others to research community and coach team in the areas of expertise

- Enable your team to focus on excellence and create a deep sense of ownership at every stage of work

- Regularly contribute through academic collaboration, publications and research papers

- Own and manage knowledge sharing within the internal data science community
