We are seeking a seasoned Data Architecture Lead with a minimum of 10 years of experience in data domain architecture. This role requires an individual who is not only an expert in data architecture but also possesses a comprehensive understanding of various other architecture disciplines, including solution architecture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Expertise in Energy Utilities and Standards: The candidate must demonstrate a deep understanding of energy utilities and be well-versed in industry standards such as the IEC Common Information Model (CIM) and other relevant frameworks.
- Business Architecture Integration: A solid grasp of business architecture and its interrelation with other architectural disciplines is essential.
- Data Management and Architectural Frameworks: Proficiency in data management and familiarity with various architectural standards and frameworks, such as TOGAF/MODAF, Archimate, Zachman, DAMA DMBoK, CMMI, DMM, and EDM DCAM, is required.
- Experience in Data Modeling Methods: Demonstrable experience in using different data modeling methods and approaches, including Inmon, Kimball, BEAM, Data Vault, and expertise in relational, dimensional, and graph technologies.
- Cloud Platform Expertise: Good experience with at least one major cloud platform such as Oracle OCI, Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
- Implementation Skills Across Data Platforms: Hands-on experience with various data platforms and technologies, including Cloud PaaS, Cloudera, Informatica, Netezza, Teradata, and Vertica.
- Utilities Industry Data Model Experience: Familiarity with at least one utilities industry data model, such as CIM, Teradata LS-FDM, IBM, etc.
- Proficiency in Data Architecture and Governance Tools: Experience with tools like Sparx, Erwin, ERStudio, PowerDesigner, Axon, EDC, Collibra, Alation, etc.
- Agile Methodology: Knowledge of Agile methodologies and how they apply to architecture, including BEAM, ADM, SAFe.
- Engineering Approaches and Practices: Leading knowledge of current and future engineering approaches and practices such as DataOps, Data Mesh.
Strategic Thinking: Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges.

- Relationship Building: Outstanding skills in building and maintaining relationships and collaborating at all organizational levels.
