Principal Consultant - Bank/FinTech

Purpose: As a Principal Consultant, the primary responsibility revolves around strategy consultancy and advisory with clients in banking sector. New business development, farming and delivery on advisory projects with clients

Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

- Provide strategic insights and thought leadership to clients and internal teams, leveraging industry knowledge (payments,lending,risk) best practices, and emerging trends to drive innovation and continuous improvement.

- Identify and develop new client opportunities to advise businesses on transformational change and capability building, aligning with the firm's strategic objectives and industry focus areas.

- Cultivate and maintain strategic client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor to senior executives and key stakeholders, while ensuring the highest caliber of client work and service delivery.

- Lead and mentor consulting staff, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to build a high-performing team.

- Drive business development initiatives, including proposal development, client presentations, and thought leadership activities, to position the firm as a trusted partner and industry leader.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to leverage expertise, resources, and capabilities to deliver integrated solutions and drive client success.

- Represent the firm at industry conferences, events, and networking opportunities to expand the firm's visibility, enhance brand reputation, and cultivate new business relationships.

Education:

Master's degree in fields such as:

- Banking / Fintech

- Computer Science / Information Technology

- Digital Business Transformation

- Data Science or Analytics

- Engineering (especially relevant branches like Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering)

Additionally, certifications or specialized training programs related to digital transformation, project management, agile methodologies, or specific technologies (such as cloud computing, cybersecurity, or artificial intelligence) can also be valuable for this role.

Experience:

- 15+ years of work experience after graduate school, in specific verticals within Fintech / Banking or Digitalization with a distinctive record of professional achievement and impact

- Proven track record of developing new client relationships and generating business development opportunities that leads to successful client engagements

- Experience leading cross-functional teams and in-depth of knowledge/defined involvement in helping frame, design and execute solutions for challenging business situations
