We are looking for a - Pricing Specialist - for one of our esteemed Clients for Bangalore Location.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in development of CU pricing strategies and ensure consistency with market realities to maximise company profitability.
- Take responsibility for generating pricing strategy hypotheses and sharing pricing insights such as price evolution, trends etc. in order to contribute to the formulation of the consumer strategy.
- Develop pricing principles and guidelines in order to ensure the implementation of the pricing strategy in the Consumer Unit.
- Develop competitive pricing structures and define prices for all consumer devices, products and services/value propositions to achieve target revenue and profit margins.
- Contribute to managing of the company's pricing function and ensure that appropriate procedures and processes are in place to this end.
- Contribute to cooperation with Segment heads to define the value propositions and roll-out prices for devices, products and services.
- Undertake commercial feasibility assessment of products/value propositions, evaluation of their performance and required modifications.
- Ensure alignment of the commercial feasibility assessment of Consumer Unit initiatives with Finance and the implementation of appropriate standards.
- Develop business cases to evaluate and assess new projects/propositions with respect to financial feasibility, risks and opportunities in order to facilitate decision-making of higher levels of management.
- Undertake statistical and quantitative analysis on key pricing initiatives to identify pricing issues and opportunities.
- Ensure that all products and propositions sold in the market have adequate profit to manage the company's objectives.
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities related to Pricing as designated by the line manager.
Requirement:
- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration (Marketing/Finance); complimentary functional trainings; excellent command of the English language.
