Main Purpose:

- To work in a global pricing and commercial support team, working alongside pursuit teams from across the globe and various sectors, service lines, businesses, as part of the sales cycle / process.

- To work on pricing and structuring commercial terms for proposals / responses to RFP, RFI, etc., building and analyzing business cases for customer engagements, including profitability analysis, cash flow analysis, while supporting internal reviews of pricing, commercial terms and the overall proposal.

- Supporting the front end team in pricing negotiations, revisions, while ensuring appropriate review and approval processes are followed internally.

Specific Duties:

- Develop deal cost models and evaluate different scenarios (pricing, cost drivers, solutions, terms, and so forth) for new business being pursued and assess the financial and commercial viability of new business. New sale/business pursuits could be a response to an RFP, add-on business from an existing client and/or business from a new client.

- Coordinate with pre-sales team, solution team, production to understand solution and analyse for gaps between cost model and solution.

- Develop P&L models for contracts after incorporating the appropriate accounting, legal and all other relevant inputs.

- Identify, quantify, and mitigate risks of customer contracts in the development phase and help management understand the long-term impact associated with new business.

- Work with the sales team, and other finance groups like Treasury, Accounting to price such deals & propose appropriate deal structures and conditions.

- Support commercial lead / bid managers in development of contract schedules. Support lead in negotiations and determining financial implications of contract terms. Assist in coordinating with Legal and other functions to ensure appropriate cover in the contract schedules.

Essential Criteria:

- B.Com or B.E with CA qualification, or MBA / PGDBM from reputed institute.

- Analytical, self motivated, confident, bold and decisive.

- Highly Numerate coupled with a high attention to detail

- Excellent oral and written communication skills combined with an ability to engage with senior internal and external stakeholders.

- Highly Proficient in Excel, Word and Power-point.

- High level of business and commercial awareness.

- Overall experience of 2-3 years post-specialization with exposure to business finance and flair to understand IT/BPO pursuits, solution and prepare pricing for such deals.

- Pricing experience on international contracts would be an added advantage.
