This is an opportunity with a leading MNC based in Bangalore

About the role:

- Critical role within Services Business Unit supporting the development of complex services bid engagements for the Applications and Business Process Outsourcing lines of business. Serve as the primary finance representative on complex new business engagements working closely with sales, deal design, legal, operations, as well as local business leadership teams to structure commercial transactions for complex services bids.

- Bid types can vary from RFP tenders to customer business case analysis. Primary responsibility will be to ensure quality support throughout the bidding process, adherence to internal governance processes and maintaining consistent application of Services global pricing policies. Specific deliverable s/responsibilities will include:

- Support and construct the financial design of complex services solutions

- Ensure that standard cost and pricing models are used where possible, allowing for flexibility where needed to build and validate custom models

- Lead services bid P&L construction, cash flow and margin analysis and the business impact analysis of individual opportunities

- Ownership of the pricing work-stream and related customer response templates and documentation
Attend customer meetings and presentations, as needed, to support the sales team

- Act as a finance consultant and liaise with various subject matter experts (SMEs) on complex finance issues (e.g. services billing, tax implications, HR staff transfer, leasing) as well as owning impact on all P&L related issues

- Ensure review sessions with tax, accounting, legal and the GPCC as well as local finance leaders take place in a timely, effective manner

- Support Master Service Agreements (MSA) negotiations related to financial and commercial issues such as billing; SLA credits; price banding; and variable pricing, termination provisions, etc.

- Transition financial responsibility to delivery finance on the successful completion of a bid, through ‘due diligence’ to contract signature

Ideal candidate would have:

- At least 5 (XYZ) years prior experience in pricing, preferably in an IT- or IT Services-related industry

- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or other relevant subject area, or equivalent experience preferred

- Executive-level communication and collaboration skills, with ability to develop and effectively articulate business cases supporting a specific course of action

- Ability to identify, develop and implement action plans to address problems or process gaps

- Understanding of Services business is highly desirable

- Confidence operating in an ambiguous environment; must be a self-starter

- Strong Excel/Business case modeling skills
