Pricing Analyst

Job Purpose:

- A pricing analyst’s primary function is to create, track and analyze pricing models to help his company set its take back prices for all product categories, in this case all IT and non-IT electronic equipments.
Pricing analyst must follow price trends in the marketplace using industry databases, catalogs and other industry sources. You would need to stay current on pricing trends and product offerings and collaborate with vendors to understand which factors influence prices.

Duties: Complete analysis and put forward suggestions to processes and business improvements.

- Create an SOP for price checks and change management. You would work closely with category managers to develop and roll out price models and strategies for the different product categories.

- Maintain price lists, contributing content for sales proposals, reviewing price quotes, generating pricing reports on sales revenue and preparing revenue forecasts and budgets for project managers.

- Create and review pricing index reports and offer suggestions to maintain targets index levels.

- Coordinate with dealer network for price checks.

- Complete dealer and retailer price checks in various markets.

- Review pricing differences between competitors to highlight opportunities for Category Management teams.

- Analyze competitor flyers to calculate level of investment and forecast sales.

- Communicate effectively with Category Managers and other employees.

- Run price optimization scenarios and offer suggestions.

- Maintain a clean and safe working environment as per company requirements.

Skills/Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in fields such as finance, mathematics, computer science, engineering,

- Statistics or economics excellent math and analytical skills. Very Good communication skills (both oral and written). High proficiency with computer spreadsheet, word processing and presentation programs, as well as software that deals with pricing models,
