President - Product & Procurement - Wellness Products Firm

As a President-Product & Procurement, the role requires you to work closely with the Procurement team to plan, direct and coordinate all the activities of buyers, purchasing officers, and related workers involved in purchasing materials, products, and services.

What you will do:

- Implementing and monitoring the new product introduction process from Conception to launch.

- Understanding market developments, performing market research and launching innovative products to serve customer needs

- Working towards sourcing of products, finalizing packaging designs

- Ensuring cost effectiveness of the new products and optimizing cost and formulations of existing product line

- Handling every issue related to products i.e., documentation, regulatory, technical, costing etc.

- Ensuring Vendor Development for new products RM/ PM

- Monitoring macro trends in supplier and contract base and implementing plans to react.

- Working closely with the Procurement Team in all phases

- Managing vendor relationships and assisting in building effective partnerships to improve overall business performance

What you need to have:

- Hands-on experience in Formulation Development with the consultants & vendors

- Excellent working knowledge in Product Costing is required.

- Experience dealing with international vendors (imports/ logistics), Packaging Development, Process development, and Quality Assurance.

- He should be updated with current trends and developments in Female Personal Care Products.

- Vast experience in dealing with International Vendors

- Leadership quality to handle a team & define SOPs and evaluate the KRAs of the team

- Good knowledge of computer, MS office & MS excel.
