Preschool Unit Head

Position Overview:

As the Preschool Unit Head, you play a pivotal role in the effective management and overall success of the preschool unit. This leadership position requires a dynamic professional who can build and uphold a positive ethos for the preschool through collaborative efforts with teachers, parents, and school management. Essentially, you function as the CEO of your respective unit, overseeing daily operations, implementing policies, and fostering a nurturing environment for both staff and children.

Key Responsibilities:

Daily Operations Management:

- Strategically plan and lead the daily operations of the preschool unit, ensuring the smooth functioning of all activities.

- Effectively oversee and manage the entire unit staff, maintaining a cohesive and productive work environment.

Policies, Routines, and Training:

- Develop internal policies and routines to guide the support staff, ensuring meticulous administration through comprehensive training.

- Supervise cooks, nannies, housekeeping, and security personnel to guarantee seamless operations.

Teacher Management:

- Collaborate closely with teachers, providing support in classroom management and day-to-day activities.

- Manage teacher schedules and enforce appropriate adult-child ratios in classrooms.

Finances and Unit Economy:

- Take charge of all financial transactions and budgets for the unit.

- Responsible for the monthly management of petty cash, contributing to the overall fiscal health of the unit.

Parents and Children Relations:

- Prioritize the well-being and happiness of all children attending the school, fostering a positive and inclusive environment.

- Cultivate strong, positive relationships with parents to ensure 100% customer satisfaction.

Admissions and Revenue Enhancement:

- Lead the admissions process, identifying opportunities to enhance unit revenue by innovatively utilizing preschool infrastructure for after-school activities.

Inter-Team Collaboration:

- Coordinate regularly with different head office teams to ensure the well-being of unit staff and keep them informed of recent developments.

- Actively participate in cross-team discussions to optimize business processes and workflow across the organization.
