Presales Role - Manufacturing Sector

Whom are we looking for :

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Software Solution Presales professional to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for engaging with potential customers to understand their manufacturing requirements, demonstrating our software solutions, and providing technical and functional expertise during the sales process. The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing operations and possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Work closely with the sales team to identify potential customers and opportunities.

- Conduct pre-sales activities, including site assessment, Gap analysis, product demonstrations and technical presentations, to customers and prospects.

- Gather requirements and assess customer needs to recommend appropriate solutions.

- Respond to customer requests for proposals (RFPs) and requests for information (RFIs) by providing detailed and accurate software solution recommendations.

- Collaborate with the product development team to provide customer feedback and product enhancement suggestions.

- Prepare and deliver techno-functional proposals, statements of work, and cost estimates.

- Keep up to date with industry trends and competitor activities.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.

- At least 6-7 years of experience in manufacturing operations, software solution design, or presales roles.

- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and technology, including MES, ERP, and IIoT, Remote monitoring.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with prospects and customers.

- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Willingness to travel as needed.

- Understanding of data analytics and visualization techniques and certifications in relevant technologies and methodologies is desirable.
