PreSales Head
Job Summary:
- Heading the Presales Unit across various verticals for a global information Technology Company
- Manage Global Sourcing Opportunities in the IT Application, Testing services across all key geographies -
(US, UK&EMEA, and India)
- Manage the Validation, Qualification, Solution Design and Win Stages of the Deal Pursuit Lifecycle (Deal to
- Operate/Service Delivery) including RFI/RFP/RFQ Responses/Capability Assessments/Due Diligence/Client
Visits
- Manage teams engaged in activities related to making presentations, solution walk through, white papers,
- case studies, service offerings & descriptions, portfolio analysis, marketing collaterals etc.
- Manage pricing decisions and the bid win ratios.
- Provide market intelligence on customer needs, competition tracking and benchmarking.
- Collaborate with service delivery/so teams for service enhancements and solution / sizing and also involve in transition from pre sales to the delivery team.
- Building credibility and gaining market share in the territory
Skills:
- Detailed understanding of Sales Engagement/Opportunity Management of the Deal Pursuit Lifecycle or equivalent
- Expert understanding of Opportunity Validation, Qualification, Solution Design and Win stages of Deal Pursuit Lifecycle
- Project Management Skills for managing multiple concurrent projects such as RFP Responses, Solution Design, Capability Assessments, Client Visit Management Experience and a thorough understanding of Bid/Service Pricing for both Discrete Projects and Annuity Deals.
- Good Understanding of the Outsourcing Vendor Evaluation & Selection Process and Criteria from a Buyers perspective.
- Demonstrable experience in managing multimillion international outsourcing opportunities and achieving/contributing to big wins.
- Coordinating RFPs and ability to drive opportunities (should have contributed to large wins)
- Ability to work with peers across the globe in service delivery functions to develop winning material for service offerings & opportunities (service descriptions, service offerings, differentiation, value proposition, case studies, etc.)
- Good Understanding of BFSI / HealthCare domain and target market (U.S. or UK)
- Good Written and Spoken Communication Skills.
- Should have managed a large sales support operation team.
- Good Client and Presentation Skills
- Expertise in portfolio and product roadmap management.
Candidate profile: BE/B.Tech from an premier University or equivalent with 10+ years of proven Sales/Pre-sales track record with a Global/Indian IT services organization
