Premium Tax/Direct & Indirect Tax Role - Insurance

Opening for Premium Tax/Direct and Indirect Tax from Us Insurance

- Prepare work papers and supporting data for US tax return preparation

- Detail review of tax forms 1120, 1065, K-1s and supporting workpapers

- Drive process improvement and automation and technology implementation throughout the Tax reporting and compliance process

- Calculate and prepare estimated tax payments

- ASC 740/foreign local quarterly and annual tax provision calculation

- Prepare Dividends Received Deduction calculation and review.

- Develop and prepare Desktop Procedures and Process maps for review and approval by client.

- Review of Direct tax liabilities and adherence to time schedule of tax payments

- General U.S. Sales/Use Tax, Property Tax, Premium Tax Compliance and Withholding Tax Activities

- Experience on quarterly estimates and extensions

- Data input and tax return preparation (A/S, Trial Balance, loads, book consolidations)

- Experience on Premium tax returns, Withholding Taxes and Sales & Use Taxes

- E-filing and Mailing of state tax returns to State Regulator

- Experience on Premium Pro software and Super forms.

- Basic knowledge of Oracle application preferred

- Prepare reconciliation reports for Withholding tax accounts

- Prepare journal entries and payment requests for Withholding tax
