Position - Production Head

Location - Delhi

Scope of the role :

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Production Head to oversee our manufacturing unit. The candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the production team, ensuring the efficient and timely production of high-quality life sciences products. The Production Head will play a key role in implementing best practices, optimizing processes, and maintaining compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Planning and Scheduling:

- Develop and execute production plans to meet operational goals.

- Create and maintain production schedules, ensuring timely delivery of products.

- Liasioning with manufacturing partners.

Quality Control:

- Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure product consistency.

- Collaborate with the quality assurance team to meet regulatory standards.

Technology and Product Development:

- Product conception and design, development, validation.

- Lead regulatory data generation, approvals, product optimization for manufacturing, product labels and support.

- Foster a strong intellectual property (IP) culture by protecting inventions and innovations though patents, copyrights, and other IP strategies.

Collaboration and Partnerships

- Identify and establish strategic partnerships with external research organizations academic institutions, and industry experts to leverage their expertise, resources, and technologies.

- Collaborate with the business development team to evaluate potential collaboration opportunities, joint ventures, or licensing agreements to accelerate innovation and expand market reach.

Budgeting and Resource Management:

- Develop and manage the budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources, cost control, and efficient utilization of funds.

- Monitor and analyze industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to make informed decisions regarding resource allocation and technology investments.

Skills Required:

- Master's degree in a relevant field such as life sciences, biotechnology, pharmaceutical sciences, or a related discipline.

- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and regulatory requirements.

- Proven track record of successful leadership, preferably in a similar industry or technology-driven organization.

- Strong technical expertise and in-depth knowledge of research methodologies, product development processes, and intellectual property management.

- Strategic thinking and the ability to translate business objectives into actionable plans.

- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

- Experience in budgeting, resource allocation, and financial management.
