Predictive Modeler - SAS

Work with Business owners & team members to provide deep analysis and guidance on statistical & modeling assignments

Manage end to end modeling projects; from data pull and validation to model validation.

Generate Analytical Insights and Predictive Solutions using statistical models for targeting the right set of customers

Provide consultancy to clients on usage of analytic solutions to achieve business goals

Draw upon the knowledge and experience in applied statistics, data mining, modeling and forecasting to ensure the results are accurate

Perform statistical summaries & tests for relevant business questions (diagnostics & data analysis)

Develop predictive, behavioral models and segmentation

Statistical testing to enhance the predictability of deployed models

Summarize models, conclusions & solutions for presentation

Desired Skills & Experience

Hands on experience in predictive modeling using SAS, SAS-EG. (3+ years exp.)

Good knowledge of machine learning techniques such as neural nets, Bayesian nets.

BE/ BTech degree from Tier 1/ 2 colleges, MS Statistics/ Economics, or other applied science fields or equivalent experience

Advanced hands-on experience with SAS, Excel Considerable experience in statistical tools (SPSS, CART, R) Experience in data modeling & forecasting

Working knowledge of querying with sql Exposure to data mining tools & techniques

Good communication skills
