Precious Metal Trader - BFSI/Constructions/Consulting Firm

Location : HongKong OR Singapore (Locals preferred)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Market Analysis:

- Stay abreast of global economic trends, geopolitical events, and market developments that may impact precious metals prices.

- Conduct thorough technical and fundamental analysis to identify trading opportunities.

- Monitor market news and research reports to stay informed about relevant factors influencing precious metals markets.

2. Trading Execution:

- Execute buy and sell orders for precious metals in a timely and efficient manner.

- Utilize trading platforms and tools to execute trades and manage positions.

- Monitor trade execution and ensure compliance with risk management guidelines.

3. Risk Management:

- Implement and maintain risk management strategies to protect the trading portfolio.

- Set stop-loss and take-profit levels based on market analysis and risk tolerance.

- Continuously assess and adjust risk exposure in response to changing market conditions.

4. Relationship Management:

- Build and maintain relationships with brokers, financial institutions, and other market participants.

- Collaborate with research teams, analysts, and other traders to gather insights and enhance trading strategies.

5. Compliance and Regulations:

- Stay informed about relevant financial regulations and compliance requirements.

- Ensure all trades adhere to regulatory guidelines and internal compliance policies.

6. Reporting:

- Generate and maintain accurate records of trades, positions, and performance metrics.

- Provide regular reports to management on trading activities, profitability, and risk exposure.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's/PG degree in finance, economics, or a related field.

- Proven experience as a Precious Metals Trader or in a similar trading role.

- Strong understanding of precious metals markets, including factors influencing supply and demand.

- Proficiency in using trading platforms and analytical tools.

- Excellent analytical and decision-making skills.

- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced trading environment.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
