We are founded by graduates of IIT Delhi and IIM Ahmedabad and our team consists of consultants who have 10+ years of direct consulting experience and/or direct experience in their own domains. Praxis is establishing a dominant presence in the Indian advisory and consulting space, with clear aspiration to go global. The aspiration is to scale the network and build the largest consulting firm globally over time. Owing to our differentiated positioning or - delivery practical advice- and - stay with the client for longer to ensure that initiatives create real impact-, we have secured bluechip clients with whom we are working on their most important strategic and operational issues. In a short span of time, we have presence in 3 offices in India already, viz., Gurgaon, Mumbai and Bengaluru. The focus is on real engagements with clear tangible outcomes. Most of our engagements use data science creatively and we use a combination of field research, digital solutions creation with our tech partners and desk research creatively. We are growing our team aggressively and intend to fill multiple Associate Consultant positions in Mumbai and Delhi. About the role: As a senior consultant, you are a manager in training and assume a great deal of responsibility. You learn to manage the entire analytical process, become an expert on the client's issues and industry, and recommend solutions that make a real impact. Senior consultants / team leaders run multiple projects end to end, have full ownership of the deliverable and assume leadership roles on their team- as such, your team's successes also enhance your own personal results story. Exposed to more complex client interactions, senior consultants play the pivotal significant role in influencing senior-- level thinking and moving clients to action. You not only provide answers to questions, but detail their strategic implications. You are also encouraged to support our culture of giving back by motivating your colleagues and the firm at large to apply their talents to support a particular social cause. As a senior consultant, the person typically runs 2-3 projects and manages 3-4 associate consultants / analysts. Key Responsibilities: - Is the primary responsibility of the project delivery, client impact, project success, project management, team development and training - Ownership of analysis on excel and be comfortable with handling data to derive meaningful insights - Conceptualize and structure key initiatives for clients basis their priorities - Work collaboratively with Praxis Principals, Associate Consultants, and cross-functional data science and technology teams - Be extremely focused on outcomes; Be flexible to deal with ambiguous and dynamic environment, morph as required. Desired background - Minimum 5-8 years of consulting, advisory or professional services experience from consulting firms or in corporates in internal strategy roles - Any experience in line functions (even if non-advisory roles) will be considered a plus. - Should have managed teams in prior roles Desired Competencies : - Leadership skills - client impact, project management, team motivation and coaching - Multi-tasking - Managing multiple projects and associate consultants requires a high degree of comfort managing multiple threads going around at the same time - Strong levels of ownership and should demonstrate pride in output - Analytical, ability to derive patterns from data/push for insights - Resourcefulness and tactfulness in getting market inputs and client requirements - Ability to work and influence in client settings and work collaboratively with counterparts in business partner teams to drive impact together at clients - High focus on outcomes and must enjoy driving clients to action - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must and working understanding of Powerpoint desirable - Must be a value-driven individual with high degree of integrity
