Pratt & Whitney - Commercial Engine Instructor

Mandatory Qualification:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BE/ BTech) in Aeronautical / Mechanical stream with 10-12 years of aviation maintenance/MRO experience AND at least 5 years of Instructional experience.

Or,

Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) with B1 license endorsement on A320/A320neo aircraft fitted with IAE V2500/PW1100G engines with 12-15 years of aviation maintenance/MRO experience AND at least 8 years of instructional experience.

Responsibilities and key activities:

- Instruct commercial engine maintenance training, including PurePower Programs (PW1000G), to internal PW customers and external airline customers at the Customer Training Center (CTC) and on-site at the customer's worldwide locations and MRO facilities.

- Areas of instruction include, but are not limited to, engine specific familiarization training, line & base maintenance, jet engine fundamentals, heavy maintenance, borescope, engine change, FOD, and human factors.

- Play a leading role in supporting aviation skill development programs to develop industry ready talent in support of government skill development initiatives in the region.

- Designing courseware in accordance with the in-house Instructional Systems Design (ISD) Process.

- Evaluating course material for content and accuracy, and recording quality escapes to support ACE requirements.

- Responsible for fielding customer requests and directing customers to appropriate P&W support personnel.

- Accountable for liaising with government/regulatory agencies to ensure compliance to regulatory, statutory requirements.

- Responsible for Employee Health and Safety (EH&S).
