Senior/Chief Manager/AVP - Product Management


Roles and Responsibilities:


- As Pramerica Life Insurance drives super-normal business growth, it is working to enable the entire salesforce with digital tools to enhance salesforce effectiveness.


- The program, SpeedBiz 2.0, will digitize the lead & activity management, customer onboarding, agent onboarding & business performance measurement in order to simplify processes, improve oversight, enable effective governance & release productive green-time. While FY22 will deliver the MVP, the product will have a multi-year roadmap to reach optimal, end-to-end salesforce automation & digitization.

- The Company also has a strong focus on driving digitization of third party distribution, across traditional Banca & CABr partnerships as well as new-age digital-first distributors. This requires significant build towards effective partner enablement.

- Passionate ownership of building customer (internal & external) experience

- Lead customer need discovery efforts to identify & prioritize product development opportunities

- Develop, articulate & own the product roadmap & vision to deliver on customer & business outcomes

- Build stakeholder alignment on the product roadmap as well as on near-term deliverables

- Define product KPIs, establish tracking mechanisms & use product management best-practices to ensure KPIs are met

- Ensure user stories and requirements lead to a high-quality platform with an intuitive, consistent user experience.

- Build the product to be flexible & optimal as the product scales in line with business growth & requirements

- Own & drive the idea-discovery-design-development-delivery-measurement process through collaboration with the business, technology & project teams.

Key Technical Skills and Core Behavioral Competencies:

- Passionate about customer experience & engagement

- Demonstrated business orientation, correctly analyze business situation and foresee implications of major decisions with in-depth understanding of regulatory issues backed by strong commercial and business acumen

- Conceptual thinking - takes the right factors into account when developing solutions and demonstrate analytical thinking.

- Drive for results Passion for learning and development, focuses on continuous improvement regarding work processes and able to work hard to achieve set goals.

- The candidate should possess the tact and ability to negotiate with and manage multiple stakeholders including board members, shareholders and regulatory authorities

- Strong interpersonal skills. Resourceful self-starter, proactive, results and execution-oriented team player Entrepreneurial spirit, pro-active attitude, be self-driven and detail oriented, possess excellent business judgment and excellent networking and relationship management skills

- Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities. High energy levels, and works well under pressure to meet deadlines

- Proven ability to lead and manage projects and deliver business results, in a rapidly changing and cross-functional matrix environment

- Experience leading/managing and empowering others, and ability to work effectively in a culturally diverse international work group

- Process orientation with continuous improvement methodology

- Resourceful, pragmatic and realistic approach to analysis with limited data and time

- A sincere, well-intentioned professional with strong ethical values

Desired Candidate Profile:

- 5+ years of PQE in Product Management working with cross-functional teams in an agile approach

- Experience of leading new product development, ideally across digital & non-digital channels

- Experience of optimising on customer satisfaction & journey quality

- Preferred experience working with product management tooling.
