Practice Lead/Practice Manager - P&C/Life Insurance

The candidate should have at least 15+ years of professional experience in the P&C or Life insurance or in a top-tier consulting firm including Senior Management level responsibilities, with a well-rounded understanding of the insurance operations and processes (i.e. Sales & Distribution, Marketing, claims, underwriting, policy servicing, agent channel management etc.), industry trends, best practices and overview of regulatory/compliance issues.

Candidate should have demonstrated exceptional understanding of P&C or Life Insurance Claims experience including technology solutions evaluation & deployment, claims transformation, operational understanding, team management as well as solution definition & change management

A good understanding and background in IT services, operational improvement, global sourcing, and quality management are essential. Knowledge of offshoring is preferred.

The candidate must bring in experience, insight, and credibility in the P&C insurance domain

Excellent problem solving, communication, and client management skills are essential. This role requires strong leadership skills and demonstrated capabilities of being a thought leader. The candidate must be able to work in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment, and be High on Drive and initiative, Self Confidence.

Candidates must have a proven record of building and maintaining long-term relationships at senior (CXO and CXO-1) levels. They must be comfortable presenting to C-level executives, and senior business and technology leaders, and must be persuasive and influential.

Should be able to conceptualize, analyze, create blueprint for business transformations and present solutions in the P&C insurance domain with special focus on Claims

The Insurance Consulting Partner is expected to be a leader in Wipro's insurance industry practice and will be responsible for driving strategic thought leadership, consulting solutions, and technology and business process services at Wipro's top insurance clients. He/She will be accountable for:

- Conceptualizing, developing and delivering strategic and technical consulting engagements (i.e. business blueprints for transformations, operational improvement, business process mapping, re-organization strategy, global sourcing strategy, IT application and asset optimization), it is expected that the Insurance Consulting Partner will spend much of their time engaged on consulting assignments. The candidate will maintain special focus on P&C Insurance Claims space

- Developing strong client relations at senior executive and CXO levels, developing new business insights, and delivering practical, implementable solutions

- Leadership responsibilities for managing consulting teams, setting senior level client expectations, thought leadership, strategic problem solving

- Leading efforts in creating industry and practice knowledge, leading business research, developing position papers and white papers, and participating / presenting at industry conferences

- Integrating solutions from across the company and bring them together in a seamless client experience

- Work closely with our large account teams to identify new opportunities that are domain centric

- Identify product and service partnership opportunities critical to integrated solution delivery

- Enhance Wipro's brand as a thought leader by representing Wipro as a speaker at major conferences, participating in reputed industry blogs and contributing articles to leading publications as required.
