We are working on a leadership search assignment with a top IT MNC in Bangalore Location.

Job Title : Practice Head - Data Center

Primary Skill (Technical Skill) : Presales /Practice

Secondary Skill : Service Delivery/Sales

Educational Qualifications : Any Engineering with M.B.A preferred

Experience Level : 17-20+ Years

Location of Posting : Bangalore

Role & Responsibilities :

Looking for Practice Head for Global Data Center who will be leading DC team and handling global clients. His/her responsibilities would include providing DC solutions, Practice development, and Delivery enablement.

Responsibilities include :

- Strong domain knowledge of Data Center & Service Desk

- To deliver contractual obligations under a Total Outsourcing engagement end to end with customer delight during pre-sales, Transition & Sustenance

- Rich experience in Solution design for End User Projects and Managed Services deals. Provide winning solutions as part of the pre-sales process including responding to formal or informal Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs) from existing and prospective clients.

- Ability to handle pre-sales queries for all technical support opportunities in EUC

- Relationship management with partners and principles/OEM and hence delivering continuous service and value to customers.

- This role primarily involves customer facing and customer interactions and ability to drive e2e transformation solution, workshop, road-show's & presentations

- Coordinate with organization's BDM's, internal service lines, Practices, Account Managers to formulate accurate and timely response to RFP/RFIs. Ensuring Sales Enablement.

- Knowledge of key technologies like VDI, SCCM, MS Platforms related to end user, Citrix/VMWare.

- Experience of large scale migration projects (Physical to Virtual & Virtual to Virtual) and user categorization for virtualization.

- Aware of various Desktop Virtualization models such HSD, Terminal Services, Client Side Virtualization

- Good Knowledge of Application Virtualization platforms including XenApp, App-V and ThinApp

- Knowledge in Active Directory, Group Policy and System policy

- Have Strong Desktop Virtualization concepts (Planning, Consulting, Architecting, Implementing)

- Track market and competition and coming out with innovative ideas to be most relevant in the market place.

Skills :

Must have :

- Large Client Engagement (+$20Mn exposure of relevant skill tower)

- Strong pre-sales orientation. Should have breadth of technology understanding with Delivery background.

- Expertise in infrastructure sizing, design and solution architecture and preparation of BOQ.

- Design, architecture, sizing, product configuration and consulting experience for EUC.

- Managed Services, Automation and tools (4.5/5)

- Client Technical Advisory experience (4/5)

- Preferably Engineering/Business Administration Degree with 16+ years in IT

- IT Infrastructure domain knowledge is a must

- Minimum of 2+ years experience in working with an Onsite-Offshore model

- Review and drive mitigation plan for all the program level risks identified during presales, transition and sustenance

- Should have sound financial management experience to drive revenue and profit growth

- Proven experience in stakeholder management & conflict resolution - Experience of working in International business environment

- Strong team player and ability to work in cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have :

- Exposure to at least one Industry / Domain (Banking, Retail, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Resources)

- Exposure to shared service environments (3.5/5)

- Transition and Solutioning skills for large deals (3.5/5)

- Contract management and pricing skills (3/5)

- Exposure to account firming and account growth (3/5)

Process & Tools :

- Proficient in Project Management Tools & Processes

- Ensure Sigma Methodology usage in service improvement initiatives and drive the Quality Orientation of deliverables

- Ensure compliance to legal and other contractual obligation to the customers

Behavioral Skill :

- Excellent written and oral communication skills

- Excellent presentation skills

- Excellent negotiation skill, sales acumen

- Interface with Senior management and drive actions identified from time to time

- Strong people management and highly customer centric.

- Strong process orientation
