Practice Head - Investment Banking

My Client helps other businesses with innovation, managing their assets, finance, and investments. They specialize in advising businesses in various fields such as agriculture, food processing, healthcare, and biotechnology. They have been doing this for over 30 years and are considered leaders in their field.

They are looking for a leader who can help them become the best in the corporate finance and investment banking industry, specifically in the fields of agriculture, food processing, healthcare, and biotechnology. This person will use the company's strengths to achieve this goal.

Responsibilities :

- Practice building :

- Responsible for assessing opportunity in the industry and, in consultation with the management, preparing mid-term and annual strategic plan for the life sciences corporate finance advisory practice.

- PR and communication to foster industry leading reputation

- Industry network building, business development and engagement sourcing

- Engagement management, project execution and delivery

- Responsible for leading end-to-end execution of sell side and buy side M&A transactions which includes origination, financial modelling, preparation of Information Memorandum, discussion with investors, valuation, negotiations, legal documentation and closing for all transactions

- Lead and execute engagements for valuation of tangible and intangible assets including intellectual property, financial due-diligence, transaction structuring and any other corporate finance engagements.

You must :

- Be an MBA from a top tier business school or CA

- Have deep experience driving corporate finance deals and prior network

- Knowledge of sector trends and corporate practices in knowledge rich segments such as life sciences

- Deep engagement in the mid-market segment, Private equity placements and strong connect to the CFO community is essential

- Ability to work with team members across functional backgrounds and leverage the firms techno-commercial expertise to identify opportunities and execute engagements
