Responsibilities :
Consumer Insights and Market Research :
- Develop and execute comprehensive research plans to uncover deep consumer insights and understand market dynamics.
- Utilize a combination of quantitative and qualitative research methodologies to gather data, including (not limited to) surveys, interviews, focus groups, and ethnographic studies.
- Analyze research findings to identify patterns, trends, and actionable insights that inform marketing, product development, and business strategies.
Customer Experience Enhancement:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and measure key customer experience metrics and indicators.
- Conduct research to understand customer pain points, preferences, and expectations throughout their journey.
- Provide actionable recommendations to improve products, services, and processes, enhancing the overall customer experience.
Research Methodology Expertise:
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge and expertise in quantitative and qualitative research methods, tools, and best practices.
- Select and implement appropriate research methodologies based on the objectives and constraints of each project.
- Oversee the development and execution of surveys, questionnaires, and other research instruments.
Team Leadership and Collaboration:
- Lead a team of researchers, providing guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to align research initiatives with organizational goals and priorities.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the research team.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Apply advanced data analysis techniques to interpret research findings, extract insights, and present actionable recommendations.
- Create clear and concise reports, presentations, and visualizations that effectively communicate research results to stakeholders.
- Ensure data integrity, quality, and confidentiality throughout the research process.
Required Competencies and Skill Set:
- Proven experience as a Head of Customer Research or a similar leadership role in consumer insights and market research.
- Deep understanding of both quantitative and qualitative research methodologies.
- Proficiency in designing and executing research studies, including surveys, interviews, focus groups, and ethnographic research.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret research data, identify trends, and generate meaningful insights.
- Expertise in data analysis tools and statistical software to analyze large datasets.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate research findings to diverse stakeholders.
- Strategic mindset, with the ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities, fostering a collaborative and innovative research environment.
- Proficiency in project management, ensuring timely and successful execution of research initiatives.
