Porter - Manager - Operations - IIT/IIM

Porter, started by three IIT graduates in 2014, is an online marketplace for logistics in India. We have a fleet of Mini Trucks or LCV's under our command and operational in all major metros. We are trying to address market inefficiencies and low capacity utilization in the logistics sector using mobile technology.

Designation : Manager - Operations

Role : City lead - Chennai

Responsibility :

- Identify potential areas for growth by analyzing market, competitor's strength & weakness, geography knowledge and pain points of customer to come up with a innovative solution to accelerate growth

- Conceptualize & execute marketing campaigns targeting potential customers to boost growth

- Design operation & financial plan in accordance with the expected growth

- Work with Analytics team to get a better understanding of city's performance

- Ability to manage team size of 10-15 members and keep them motivated

- Compensation is not a concern for right candidates.
