Poonawalla Fincorp - Associate Vice President - LAP Product

Responsibilities and Duties:

This role is critical in managing and enhancing the LAP product portfolio. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing strategies to drive growth and profitability in the LAP segment.

1. Product Strategy and Development:

- Develop and refine the LAP product strategy in alignment with the company's goals and market trends.

- Identify opportunities for product enhancements or new LAP offerings to meet customer needs.

2. Market Research and Analysis:

- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay updated on industry trends, customer preferences, and pricing strategies.

- Use market insights to make data-driven decisions in product development.

3. Product Pricing and Profitability:

- Analyze pricing models to ensure LAP products are competitive and profitable.

- Monitor and adjust pricing strategies as needed to maximize revenue.

4. Risk Management:

- Collaborate with the risk management team to assess and manage credit risk associated with LAP products.

- Implement risk mitigation strategies to maintain portfolio quality.

5. Regulatory Compliance:

- Stay current with NBFC regulations and ensure LAP products are compliant with all applicable laws and regulations.

- Work closely with legal and compliance teams to address any regulatory issues.

6. Cross-functional Collaboration:

- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to drive LAP product sales and ensure a seamless customer experience.

- Provide training and support to sales teams regarding LAP products.

7. Performance Monitoring:

- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly monitor the LAP portfolio's performance.

- Develop and implement action plans to address any performance gaps.

8. Team Management:

- Supervise and mentor a team of product managers and analysts responsible for LAP products.

- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team.

9. Reporting and Communication:

- Prepare and present regular reports on LAP product performance and strategies to senior management.

- Communicate updates and changes in LAP products to relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications and Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field (MBA preferred).

- Proven experience in product management within the NBFC or banking industry, with a focus on LAP products.

- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent understanding of credit risk and regulatory compliance.

- Leadership and team management experience.

- Effective communication and presentation skills.
