Pollinate Group - IT Strategy Manager (4-10 yrs)

Logistics of Role

You will report to the Head of Operations. You will be based in our Headquarters in Bangalore, with additional travel to our existing cities and new regions if required.

Key Responsibilities

IT Strategy Manager will:

1. Define, Develop and Deliver IT Strategy for the organization

2. Have a clear vision of IT for the next 5 years

3. Ensure the tech team meets the required TAT on a day to day problem solving

4. Oversight of all technology practices at Pollinate - including our CRM platform Salesforce, PowerBi, mapping processes, task management systems, data management processes, and an overview of our company website

5. Transform existing manual process to technology-driven process - Includes HR, Operations, Sales, Training

6. Understand the current tech platforms being used by various verticals and ensure integration

7. Develop new process and systems required for the organization to scale up Collect market intelligence from the field to ensure we are building process and systems that can be adopted at the grass-root level and are cost-effective

8. Design/Manage existing website/ create a new website wherever necessary

In addition to this, he/she will be required to provide round-the-work-clock support for these platforms and a high-level evaluation of their efficacy in running Pollinates operation on a day-to-day basis.

Technology is a large portfolio to own and discharge ones responsibilities, but there will be scope to get involved with other opportunities within the organization, pending success in the priority areas outlined above.

Specific tasks will include, but are not limited to:

Salesforce Management

1. Overview of all processes being followed in Salesforce including those in the HR, Sales, and Recruitment Applications

2. Data management practices of individual records and regular follow up with cities on data cleansing

3. Simple and complex enhancements on existing applications to streamline processes being employed

4. Reporting support to our Sales, Operations, and Finance teams through monitoring and data analysis of sales, Area Managers, communities, repayment rates, outstanding balances, and other data deemed relevant

Technology Strategy

1. Liaising with Head of Operations to create and finalize periodic feedback loops on technology usage and assessing knowledge gaps

2. Working with Head of Operations and HQ team to understand and develop high-level strategies with regard to technology usage, budgeting, expenditure, and outlining possible solutions

3. Use technology to solve business problems for all stakeholders

Make technology an integral part of the way the organization works to create efficiency in operations and scale the business

Training and Development

1. Facilitating comprehensive technology training for our new recruits (Salesforce, Asana, Gmail)

2. Carrying out refresher training sessions for staff on new developments and platform usage

3. Streamlining, managing, and updating the Salesforce training manual for staffs reference.

General Administration and Website Management

1. Setting up new accounts on all existing platforms (Salesforce, Asana, Gmail)

2. Managing file database system and streamlining ease of usage (Google Drive)

3. Administering the Pollinate Energy website through simple and complex enhancements and changes

4. Management of other platforms that transition data into Salesforce

What we are looking for:

1. 4+ years in IT Operations and Management, experience in Salesforce management including proficiency in the Apex and Visualforce coding languages

2. Technology development experience is a must for small to mid-sized companies

3. Good understanding of how technology can help solve business problems with IT for a growing business

4. Experience in-

- website management, including WordPress, HTML, CSS, and basic javascript

- Managing blogs and social media platforms

- Ability to work across teams and diverse IT/Digital marketing vendors

5. Data management and administration experience is desirable

6. High-level technological strategy experience is desirable

7. Passion to work with people from low-income and low-skill backgrounds

8. Able to use technical systems, online communication, and processes to get the job done across many regions

9. Results-driven and capable of working autonomously in a small business environment

10. Excellent interpersonal skills

11. Fluent in written and spoken English a must, with one additional Indian language preferred (Kannada/Telugu and Hindi highly desirable)

12. Passion for social business, renewable energy, and dedication to transform the lives of the poor
