What is Pollinate Energy-   Pollinate Energy is a not-for-profit social business focused on tackling energy poverty. By providing access to low cost, clean energy technology we help improve the lives of poor people living in India's urban slums.  After three years- of operation we have grown to three major Indian cities (Banglaore, Hyderabad and Kolkata) and have a team of over 50 staff and franchisees. Our entrepreneurs have changed the lives of more than 60,000 people by providing access to solar lighting, and we aim to be in 20 major Indian cities by 2020.  To do this, we need you! We are looking for a Recruitment Manager who can help us build the right team during this period of growth, with a particular focus on recruiting, training and developing our entrepreneurs - the Pollinators.  You can find out more about our organisation at www.pollinateenergy.org.   Logistics of Role  You will report to the Executive Committee (Chief Sales Officer, Emma Colenbrander and Chief Operations Officer, Alexie Seller). You will be based in our Headquarters in Bangalore, with additional travel to our existing cities and new regions as required.  You will be working from Monday - Friday, 10am - 6pm.   The role will start immediately.  Key Responsibilities  The core element of this role is in building our new team. This includes recruiting and inducting, our Pollinators, local staff and Indian fellows (80% of role).  In addition to this, you will support the HQ team in managing our existing HR systems - Training and development and Employee relations. (20% of role).  HR is a large portfolio and there will be scope to be involved in other opportunities, pending success in the priority areas outlined above.  Specific tasks will include, but are not limited to:  Recruitment  Recruit Pollinators (local entreprenuers) across our operating cities (ensuring 15 Pollinators operational in every location at all times)  Identify and recruit staff positions based on need of the organisation and expansion  Recruit Indian Fellows and Young Professionals for our international programs (these operate every 2-3 months, 5-7 candidates per program per city)  Develop recruitment strategy for expansion regions and work with Executive Committee to implement  Induction  Maintain induction system and innovate to improve this experience  Develop induction training and hand-over to management to operate for new recruits  Training and Development  Create staff development plan  Facilitate refresher trainings for staff across organisation on as-needs basis  Support management in rolling out training across organisation  Employee Relations  Ensure feedback loops and appraisal processes are performed on time and effectively  Design and roll-out exit interviews process  What we are looking for:  Experience in recruitment outreach, hiring and probation or training a must  Passion to find the right people to help us grow  A desire to work with people from low-income and low-skill backgrounds  Able to use technical systems, online communication and processes to get the job done across many regions  Results driven and capable of working autonomously in a small business environment  Capable in conflict resolution and negotiation  Excellent interpersonal skills  Fluent in written and spoken English a must, with one additional Indian language preferred (Kannada/Telegu and Hindi highly desirable)  Passion for social business, renewable energy and dedication to transform the lives of the poor  Technical HR knowledge a bonus  What you can expect from us:  Benefits  The position comes with a salary of Rs 30,000 base + 10,000 incentive based on quarterly goals (negotiable).   Health insurance, following a 3 month trial period  Travel across Indian cities  Working alongside a high profile and successful international team   Our approach  Our team is here to learn and grow, try new skills, and to put their passion to make the world a better place into action.
