Learn more about the companies here : https://pollinateenergy.org and http://www.empowergeneration.org About the role : Pollinate Energy / Empower Generation is seeking to hire a hands-on COO who will play a key role in overseeing the growth of the organization, with a particular emphasis on providing operational support to its sales team of - pollinators- (field sales agents). In addition to improving the sales operations efficiency, the COO will also play an important financial management role, overseeing the budgeting and financial reporting processes. The COO will be expected to contribute to strategic planning and goal creation in collaboration with their peers and CEO to develop and own company-operational plans to meet those goals. Key Responsibilities : Deliver on Operational Objectives in Support of the Sales Team : 1. Execute and enhance systems to manage sales, data, and forecasting; 2. Establish workflows to maintain compliance standards on cash management; 3. Execute on training requirements; 4. Oversee and help develop the sales, finance, HR, and technology teams. Supply Chain Management : 1. Lead inventory management and quality control; 2. Improve supply chain efficiency for Pollinate / Empower. 3. Monitoring and Market Planning: 4. Oversee the management of data flows, and prepare data-driven reports; 5. Support distribution strategies for new product launches; 6. Oversee the development of marketing &amp; sales collateral. Financial Management : 1. Develop and monitor the pricing policy; 2. Review financial reports and dashboards; 3. Review, challenge and improve the budget and financial performance. Does this sound like you? Strong Track Record in Operations: 1. Minimum of 10 years experience, of which at least 5 years should be in a senior operations role or GM role in India, with a strong track record of achievement, ideally in a startup or equivalent high growth context; 2. Track record of establishing effective operational systems and processes. Project Management Skills : 1. Proven ability to plan and manage multiple workflows and projects (from funding to sales to operational systems/processes) with minimal management oversight. Team and Culture Development : 1. Strong track record of managing and developing teams. 2. Experience in maintaining and improving company culture. Ability to understand financials : 1. Experience in owning and maintaining dashboard reports; 2. Track record of maintaining and enhancing a financial model.
