Job Description - Product Manager, Affiliates
- The person is responsible for automating our operations at scale, while working on building a robust front end (UI/UX).
- This role will be tasked with helping establish a clear and cohesive product strategy, executing on that strategy, leading high visibility projects, and working cross-functionally with teams across the business.
- The team is tasked with understanding gaps in operational processes, while keeping one eye on innovation - and implementing these within a predefined timeline. The overall goal of everything we do is to introduce innovation, create efficiency, increase quality and add automation.

Responsibilities:
- Create a deep understanding of existing internal systems and build out pipes between them and your product basis requirements given by business.
- Lead the creation of a collaborative interaction model between various teams, including technology, sales, operations and other teams within the larger company.
- Identify operational weaknesses and help innovate new processes.
- Locate and hunt down the gaps with the help of technology to optimize the operational processes.
- Research and understand the latest market trends, keep an eye out for competition updates, and evolve the product plan accordingly.
- Be prepared to work in a data-driven environment, you should be able to strategize business decisions using captured metrics.
Requirements:
- Product experience preferred, however a background in fintech, consulting or operations management may also apply.
- Experience with data-based decision-making, exercising good judgement in ambiguous circumstances, and effectively communicating across a diverse team.
- Exceptional communication, project management, and organization skills.
- Entrepreneurship mentality. Must be a self-starter. Self-motivated, works independently and possesses strong organization and time management skills.
- Mentality that no project is too big or too small to give their full 100%. Doesn- t hesitate to roll up their sleeves to get the job done.
- Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to build relationships, manage stakeholders, and create a strong partnership between product and other teams across the business.
- SQL proficiency and understanding of technical systems highly preferred
- Technical degree highly preferred. Especially if no relevant experience in product.
