Job Description:

Role purpose:

- Establishes financial status by developing and implementing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying, and reporting financial information.

Role accountabilities and tasks:

- Strategic financial planning (e.g. taxation, financing) and internal control.

- Meets accounting financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances.

- Confirms financial status by monitoring revenue and expenses; coordinating the collection, consolidation, and evaluation of financial data; preparing special reports.

- Maintains accounting controls by establishing a chart of accounts; defining accounting policies and procedures.

- Maintains financial security by establishing internal controls.

- Coordination with Internal and Statutory Auditors.

- Experience in liasoning with Government departments i.e. Income Tax, Service Tax, PF, ESI etc.

Competencies required (in order of importance)

- Good Analytical skills

- Knowledge of Taxation/compliance

- Coordination with auditors

- Understanding of the business

Qualifications: CA

Experience and skills:

- Minimum 6+ years experience in working in the areas of Finance and accounts.

- Preparation of monthly MIS and financial statements
