Position Summary :

Polestar is seeking a marketing specialist who will be responsible for developing, implementing and executing strategic marketing plans for the organization to establish a lead and demand generation process, ensure consistent pipeline of qualified leads and develop inbound and outbound marketing campaigns.

The marketing specialist would be responsible for all marketing activities within the organization.

Job Description :

- Marketing Strategy - Collaborate with leadership team and key sales team stakeholders to craft marketing strategy and then own the execution from start to finish.

- Promotional Campaigns - Generate leads by devising and executing multi-channel campaigns across AdWords, mail, social media, webinars etc.

- Website Management - Manage website development and revisions from a marketing perspective, ensuring search engine optimization, brand consistency and effective messaging.

- Content Strategy and Execution - Prepare web content strategy and manage the process of creating thought leadership content pieces like white papers, case studies, blogs, testimonials and other web-based content collaterals.

- Customer and Employee Advocacy - Build customer and employee advocacy by generating testimonials through AV and text.

- Events - Plan and execute small scale events to build sales lead pipeline. Support preparation and execution of promotional activities at industry events (conferences/trade shows).

- Internal Alignment - Maintain effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant company functions are kept informed of marketing objectives.

- Team Management - Manage a team of marketing staff for achievement of the above objectives.

Personal Attributes :

- More than 5 Years of marketing experience in an IT industry

- Candidate should be well versed with marketing best practices across web and events

- Candidate should have superior verbal and written communication skills along with a keen eye for creative development

- Exposure to and interest in analytics would be preferred

- Prior experience of team management would be preferred

- Exposure to working on marketing programs for overseas markets would be preferred
