Polestar Capital - Director/VP - Mezzanine Finance/Private Equity

- This is a Strategic role with a boutique Investment Banking firm based out of Mumbai and specifically focused on origination, structuring and distribution of Mezzanine Capital, Private Equity and Venture Capital opportunities.

- The candidate will be a key member of the Credit Management team actively involved in the overall Credit Strategy of the firm with Profit share opportunity.

- A key prerequisite for the candidate is to have proven Structured Credit/PE distribution skills and excellent relationship with Global and Local Credit Opportunity Funds, Hedge Funds, Alternative Asset Managers, Special Situation Funds, Real Estate Funds, Private Equity, Pension Funds, etc. Relationship with Venture Capital though not necessary will be an added advantage.Candidates with relevant hands-on experience and ability to independently lead investor discussion are encouraged to apply

KRAs :

- Will be primarily responsible for distribution of Structured Credit and Mezzanine Finance to both Offshore and Onshore investors spanning acquisition finance, pre-IPO finance, leveraged finance, structured finance, both at Operating as well as Holding company level

- Should have excellent knowledge and relationship with the Investors having worked on many mandates in the past

- Will be expected to generate reverse enquiry from investors as to their specific appetite based on which mandates could be taken for Origination

Desired Skills and Experience :

- Excellent investor relationship across hierarchy

- Good understanding of investor base and their requirement

- Fair knowledge of legal and financial structures

- Should be a team player

Core Competencies :

- Excellent academic credentials with a preference for an MBA, CFA or a qualified CA

- Minimum of 7-10 years of relevant experience is a must

- A strong work ethic, self-motivation, initiative, and a desire to succeed

- Excellent communication and presentation skills
