We are front-ending the category creation for the audio OTT landscape and building the largest repository of audio streaming content across formats like audio series, audiobooks and podcasts, through our unique storytelling approach.

Pocket FM has grown to over 130 million listeners across the globe, with active listeners spending an average of over 110 minutes every day. We are a Series C funded start-up backed by some of the marquee investors like Naver, Goodwater Capital, Lightspeed, Tanglin Venture Partners and others.

Role:

(a). P&L responsibility of a category (genre) in the respective geography and the respective show P&Ls in the category. The role will own CACs, ARPUs, payback period, show retention and show profitability as well.

(b). Entire funnel responsibility for the category:

(i). Commissioning of shows: Identify shows to launch and scale based on user traction, consumer insights, etc.

(ii). User acquisition: Acquire users through different channels. Scale in marketing budgets and targets.

(iii). Retention of users: Maintain user retention, identify retention issues in shows, user journey, etc through in app marketing and other levers, crosswalk across shows

(c). Work with product and content production teams to adhere to timelines, maintain growth, etc

(d). Work with the growth/category/program managers and creative teams to deep dive and analyze creatives performance, deep root case analysis and problem solving for the issues faced

(e). Keen eye with details on a daily basis about shows, marketing campaigns, budgets, actuals vs plan, etc with strong data based problem solving

Experience:

(a). 2-11 years of experience in category management, growth, management consulting, sales post MBA

(b). Graduation and MBA from a Tier 1 college.

(c). Sectors Preferred: FMCG, FMCD, Ecommerce, OTT, Management Consulting

(d). Strong experience in deep problem solving

Location : Bengaluru
