Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic plans and operational objectives for the production department in alignment with the overall business goals.
- Oversee and manage end to end shows and deliverables for all the leading shows in India and US
- Lead entire operations for production from writer sourcing, training, writing of the shows, sound engineer, delivery, production
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as programming, engineering, creative, and marketing, to ensure seamless workflow and efficient resource utilization.
- Manage the production budget, including forecasting, cost control, and resource allocation, while ensuring high-quality content production within budgetary constraints.
- Oversee the planning and execution of live broadcasts, ensuring seamless technical operations, adherence to schedules, and high-quality output.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies, trends, and industry innovations in broadcasting and media production, and make recommendations for adoption.
- Foster a culture of creativity, innovation, and continuous improvement within the production, commissioning and analytics verticals across.
- Monitor production KPIs, analyze performance data, generate reports, and provide insights to senior management for decision-making.
- Manage relationships with external vendors, suppliers, and production partners, negotiating contracts, and ensuring deliverables are met.
Qualifications:
- Master's/Bachelor's degree in broadcasting, media production, communications, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in production management in running & scaling operations with extensive experience in production, operations or media management, preferably in a broadcast and ecommerce organization.
- In-depth knowledge of broadcast operations, technical infrastructure, studio and remote production, transmission systems, and content delivery platforms.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and mentor a diverse team of professionals.
- Proficient in managing complex projects, workflows, and production timelines, with a keen attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, external partners, and talent.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and production requirements.
- Strong business acumen, budget management skills, and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Knowledge of emerging technologies, trends, and innovations in broadcasting, media production, and content distribution.
