The role encompasses control over the business PnL management, profitability at macro & micro level and cost control. The portfolio and analytical lead requires to have a complete oversight on the MA portfolio providing insights to management to suggest interventions, ie campaigns and provide directional sales behavior. Has an overview on the ground to positively influence the sales and product initiatives to impact portfolio and PnL

Core Responsibilities :

- Responsible for Business and Finance Budget and monitor the actual Vs Budget with insights to Management

- Ensure Business level profitability by continuous monitoring of P&L

- Work towards Cost Optimization in close proximity with internal Finance Team

- Monitor Market Share on volume and Installation Matrix

- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to determine how well the existing portfolio is performing and how it contributes to profit.

- Develop engagement strategies for existing base of merchants spread across various segments/geographies.

- Develop campaign strategies to retain and grow existing merchants from different segments/categories.

- Identify inactive merchants and develop suitable strategy to activate and turn them profitable.

- Identify opportunities for strategic tie up to increase market penetration, sales volume and brand visibility.

- Identify and weed out unprofitable merchants spread across various segments and markets by monitoring merchant level profitability

- Provide seamless support to client facing stake holders

- Liaise with internal Stake holders for ensuring cost cutting measures

- Liaise and frontend with schemes on all regulatory and policy matters

- Manage all regulatory and compliance updates & reporting in a timely manner

- Ensure tracking of various costs and revenues hitting various GLs.

- People Management or Self-Management Responsibilities

- Develops a continuous talent pipeline for key roles in the department and provides mentoring for high potential talent in the team.

- Monitors and enables the achievement of goals and key performance indicators for direct reports and ensures effective implementation of the performance management process in the department.

- Develops talent within the department by providing guidance, ongoing feedback, and coaching development opportunities to individuals to enable achievement of the defined goals.
