PMS Operations - Fund Accounting - CA - BFSI

Location - Mumbai

Job Functions:

Responsible for handling overall operations for PMS Responsibilities:

- Handling of Corpus flows and Reconciliations of clients accounts and managing Cash Flows

- Taking care of Investment / redemption in mutual funds and IPOs

- Taking care of Settlement of trades and handling pay in and pay out of funds and securities

- Calculation of various kinds of Fees as agreed with clients

- Calculation of Commission for various Distributors and Intermediaries

- Handling of Client Queries and resolving the same within TAT

- Generating Debit Notes / Invoices and collection of Fees within the time frames.

- Creation of Client Portfolio in the system with various parameters and KYC guidelines

- Monitoring of daily activities and ensuring proper process and policies

- Coordination with Client Service Team / Dealers and Fund Managers

- Coordination with Brokers, Custodians and Bankers for smooth functioning

- Assisting and coordination with Internal and Statutory Auditors for audit process and resolving their queries

- Assisting in conducting ISO Audit with Compliance team

- Liaison with Software vendors and IT team for updation and customization

- Monitoring of Offshore Advisory Funds. Providing information and data for NAV calculation and calculation for Advisory Fees.

Responsible for Business MIS:

- Profit & Loss Account and Cash Flow on a monthly basis

- Board presentations for Quarterly meetings

- Preparation of Annual Budget

- Periodic reports based on various permutations and combinations

- Performance analysis for specific portfolios

Assisting in Risk Function such as:

- Understanding the risk framework

- Monitoring if the single stock and sector limits are not breached

- Generating the liquidity profile of the portfolio and of the global holding and comparing with the risk framework

- Generating the performance of single stocks vs the benchmark and highlighting if there is any breach of risk parameters

- Responsible for report on portfolio alignment to concept.

- Responsible for automations in current system.

Qualification: CA

Preferable Experience (Specific to any organization) : Around 6 - 8 years experience at a similar role in the Financial Services industry

Functional Skills Required:

- Computer Proficiency (MS Word, Excel)

- Presentation Skills

- MIS

- Sound Knowledge on PMS Operations & Software

Reporting Relationship - Head Operation, Taxation and Valuation

Experience Band - 10 - 12 years exp

Age Band - Around 30 - 34 years.
