PMO Role - IIT/NIT/BITS (5-9 yrs)

Ee are seeking a dynamic and proactive PMO Manager to provide comprehensive support to our business leader . The PMO Lead / Manager will play a crucial role in driving strategic initiatives, facilitating decision-making processes, and ensuring alignment between projects and organizational objectives. Responsibilities:

Strategic Alignment:

- Collaborate closely with business leaders to understand strategic objectives, priorities, and key initiatives.

- Ensure alignment between project portfolios and organizational goals, facilitating the translation of strategic objectives into actionable project plans.

Project Governance:

- Establish and maintain project governance frameworks, standards, and processes to ensure consistency and compliance across all projects.

- Monitor project performance, identify potential risks and issues, and implement corrective actions to mitigate project disruptions.

Resource Management:

- Manage resource allocation and capacity planning, ensuring that projects have the necessary resources to support successful execution and delivery.

- Coordinate with resource managers and department heads to optimize resource utilization and address resource constraints as needed.

Financial Management:

- Oversee project budgets, expenditures, and financial forecasts, ensuring alignment with approved budgets and financial targets.

- Monitor project costs, track variances, and provide regular updates to business leaders on financial performance and budget utilization.

Stakeholder Engagement:

- Foster collaboration and communication among stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including business leaders, project teams, and external partners.

- Organize and facilitate stakeholder meetings, workshops, and governance forums to ensure alignment, resolve conflicts, and drive decision-making processes.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure project performance and progress towards strategic objectives.

- Prepare and present regular reports and dashboards to business leaders, providing insights into project status, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

Change Management:

- Support change management efforts associated with strategic initiatives, ensuring effective communication, stakeholder engagement, and adoption of new processes and technologies.

- Develop change management plans, training programs, and communication strategies to facilitate smooth transitions and minimize resistance to change.

Qualifications:

- Btech from Tier 1 institute

- Proven experience in project management or PMO roles, with a focus on supporting business leaders and executive teams.

- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, governance frameworks, and best practices.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to influence and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
