What you will be doing -

- Involved in the monthly financial close process, including ensuring all transactions incurred are properly recorded, reviewing journal entries, account balance reconciliations and preparation of monthly reports.

- Perform daily bank reconciliations, analyse and evaluate the discrepancies. Coordinate with other finance team members to ensure the best treatment to the book transactions.

- Liaise with external parties, such as auditors and tax consultants to ensure successful audit results and compliance with local accounting standards and tax regulations at all times.

- Responsible for the accuracy in the general ledger and financial statements and over classification and booking of all transactions.

- Make recommendations for changes as needed and ensure that company policies and procedures are followed and establish the proper techniques to discover and prevent errors.

- Ensure all the monthly management accounts with all its supporting schedules (mainly all the balance sheets accounts) are prepared in a timely and accurate manner.

- Actively review and advise on financial/accounting and control processes.

- Schedule transactions required for weekly payments, ensuring payments are accurately made, and released for vendors timely.

- Ensure all tax items are properly calculated, accurately paid, and filed timely, including preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual taxes and tax claims.

- Process reimbursements and employee claims as required on a monthly basis.

- Ensure accounting, tax and financial records are kept safe and in a tidy manner, all transactions are processed with utmost discretion and confidentiality and properly documented at all times.

What do you need to be successful

- Qualified Chartered accountant

- Minimum of 8 years of strong work experience in managing finance and accounting for a mid-large company (preferably IT and/or financial services).

- Very strong on taxation (especially GST) and compliances, experienced in handling internal as well as external audit.

- Experience of working with a global company would be an added advantage.

- Willingness to work with Indonesia timezone.

- Very strong on ethics and integrity.
