Plopdo - Manager - Supply Chain

Position Responsibilities:

- Develops technical strategies and architectures for systems or enterprise-wide practice solutions.

- Develops and recommends solutions and strategies for technical problems based on the analysis of the customer's business goals, objectives, needs, and existing systems infrastructure.

- Participates in sales and proposal presentations in addition to ongoing team account activities.

- Often viewed as a consultant, may identify additional product/service opportunities.

- Assignments are received in task and objective oriented terms. Provides direction to subordinates based on general policies and management guidance.

- Work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives. Interprets and executes policies and procedures that typically affect subordinate organizational units. Recommends modifications to operating policies.

- Accomplishes results through lower subordinate supervisors or through experienced employees who exercise significant latitude and independence in their assignments.

- Often heads a centralized functional activity. Functions as an advisor to a unit regarding tasks, projects, and operations.

- Becomes actively involved in daily operations only when required to meet schedules or to resolve complex problems.

- Ensures that projects are completed on schedule and within budget. Erroneous decisions or recommendation or failure to complete assignments would normally result in serious delays to assigned projects resulting in considerable expenditure of additional time, human resources and funds.

- Frequent contacts with internal personnel and outside customer representatives at various

management levels concerning operations or scheduling of specific phases of projects or contracts.

- Conducts briefings and participates in technical meetings for internal and external representatives concerning specific operations.

- Primary areas include procurement and contracting, materials management, logistics operations, supply intelligence, supplier management, transportation and distribution, trade compliance in terms of customs and GST

Minimum Requirements:

- Bachelor's Degree in engineering

- 10 years and above supply chain experience.

- Experience in Working with teams across regions and cultures.

- Experience leading or participating in cross-functional teams.

- Proven leadership skills.

Qualification:

- Master's in business or supply Chain Management valent experience

- Experience working with Demand Planning, Sourcing, Supply Planning & Execution, Logistics-inbound and outbound, procurement.
