Our current eCommerce integrations are with leading platforms like Shopify & Zepo and we are looking at adding platforms like Magento, Open Cart, Big Commerce, Woo Commerce etc shortly.

Job Title : VP - Business Development - eCommerce

Location : Pune

Experience : 7+ years

Job Description :

- The vice president of sales and business development reports to the Co-Founder and Head of Sales and is a key member of the company's executive team. The VP Sales assist the company in achieving its key objectives of customer acquisition and revenue targets.

- He/she is responsible for the strategy, direction and management of all sales and business development activities & operations, including identifying potential markets to enter, pricing, competitor analysis, and channel partner strategy across both India and International Markets.

Responsibilities :

- Experience in selling SaaS based solutions and successful record in the B2B selling environment. Knowledge of e-commerce domain would be an added advantage

- Develop a strategy for growing business opportunities and achieving the company's sales objective's both in India and International Markets

- Responsible for end to end demand generation: creating, pitching, closing, tracking and reporting results of sales opportunities generated through various sources (outbound + inbound)

- Managing regular email campaigns across all integrated e-commerce platforms and web stores and optimize results for generating higher closures and revenues

- Explore and identify potential new strategic alliances and partnerships both in India and Internationally

- Ability to identify, recruit and manage a large network of active channel partners, both in India and Internationally to grow sales and revenues exponentially

- Manage and grow both, the direct sales and channel sales teams & operations to deliver profitable growth

- Define and oversee sales staff compensation and incentive programs that motivate the sales team to achieve their sales targets

- Define and co-ordinate ongoing mentoring, training and development programs that enable staff to achieve targets, increase knowledge of product and produce results that are in line with the company sales objectives

- Provide regular and timely feedback to the marketing, product and customer success team for increasing leads, product improvements and customer on-boarding and life-cycle management respectively.

- Manage overall sales process & set appropriate metrics for sales funnel management

- Set-up a sales CRM and monitor & track sales activity of the team

- Optimize results to achieve & surpass targets personally and also motivate team members to excel in their respective markets

- Conduct weekly forecast meetings and provide direct reports on sales process and results

Other Requirements :

- Any Post Graduate Degree

- Total 7+ years of sales experience with a minimum of 4 years of experience in SaaS Sales & Business Planning. Prior experience in eCommerce domain is a must

- Interested, rather excited to work with a startup and become an important catalyst for the growth of the company

- Data driven, continuously improving the sales process based on key metrics

- Comfortable and confident using technology as an integral part of the sales process and sales funnel management

- Strong Communication skills and ability to influence decision makers

- In-depth knowledge of the e-commerce web stores & mobile apps market to better communicate the product value to all channel partners and direct customers
