We are looking for an experienced sales professional with a proven track record to join us as Director - Sales. Most of our customers are based out of North America and hence you will work in the North America Time Zones. Shift Timings: 6:00 pm - 3:00 am

Responsibilities:

- Leadership:

The Director Sales will lead the entire sales team in acquiring all levels of customers from various channels (Inbound & Outbound). This is a high-profile customer-facing role requiring outstanding relationship management skills and technical acumen. You will be directly responsible for driving the end-to-end sales cycle of our SaaS product from lead generation to prospecting to closure

- Business Development and Personal Sales:

This role is a senior management role reporting to the Founders at Plobal Apps. You will be expected to personally sell and lead a sales team to sell to a diverse range of customers having an online ecommerce webstore in the following sub-industry verticals - Fashion and Apparel, Accessories, Lifestyle, Beauty, Cosmetics, Sports and lots more. The position is based out of Pune, where you will work closely with your team and reach out to prospects remotely, over calls, emails and video conferences

Key Responsibilities:

- Create a Go-To-Market strategy for Plobal Apps - both direct sales (email, tele-calling, social etc) )and partner sales models.

- You must thrive in a startup environment and have a proven track record of defining a detailed sales strategy, running a result and metrics driven sales team, and expanding sales to new markets and ecommerce platforms

- Prior experience / been part of a team in scaling high growth SaaS products for the SMB / Ecommerce Industry with a focus on International Markets. Proven success of scale and growth numbers will need to be provided

- Develop a thorough understanding of both Plobal Apps (i.e. products, value proposition etc) and of it's partner platforms and identify key growth and market penetration strategies

- Responsible for the success of sales with respect to customer acquisition, growth, client satisfaction, revenue, retention etc

- Hire, coach and develop new and existing sales team members. Be a mentor, coach and leader for the entire team

- Collaborate and provide regular feedback to the Product team to accelerate features needed to enhance sales opportunities. Also, regularly coordinate with the marketing teams to setup and optimize the sales funnels and conversion rates

- Lead the day to day operations of the team to ensure effectiveness, efficiency and scalability including building reporting and managing team metrics using CRM's such as Salesforce.

- Ability to forecast and achieve monthly and annual revenues. Provide weekly reports on all sales metrics to the management team - new sales, MRR growth, ARR growth, conversions, churn etc

- Prior success in working with the Customer Success teams to increase lifetime value of each customer. Provide assistance / guidance as required to help reduce churn and increase upsells and cross sell opportunities

Who you are:

- 8+ years of successful SMB & Enterprise software sales experience. Prior SaaS experience is a must

- MBA from a Top B School (IIM / ISB etc) would be preferred

- Minimum of 4+ Years- experience in managing sales teams. Proven success and ability to build and manage large teams

- Good knowledge and understanding of the mobile and ecommerce ecosystems. Prior experience of working on platforms like Shopify, Magento etc would be a plus

- Detailed understanding of internet technologies (shopping carts, mobile apps, email and online marketing tools, CRM etc) is a must

- Ability to operate in an entrepreneurial environment - you have an abiding technical curiosity and commitment to growing and penetrating in new markets using various sales channels (inbound, outbound, email, tele-calling, social etc)

- Strong communication and reasoning skills

- Ambitious, self-motivated, goal-oriented and extremely driven
