Main Accountabilities :
- Production operations
- Responsible for driving healthy, cordial and proactive employee relations at the plant
- Handle daily operational issues pertaining to workmen
- Assist and guide Line leaders and Supervisors periodically for managing the shopfloor and their workmen
- Effectively manage employee Leave and attendance management
- Effectively manage Contractual/ Casual/ Fixed Term/On the Job Trainees/ workmen in line with the Labour Laws and as per the organizational requirements
- Guide Line Leaders/Supervisors in handing Employee Grievance and actively take part in monitoring the outcome and implementation of the resolutions
- Execute and facilitate disciplinary actions whenever required.
- Maintain all the statutory registers, payments and ensure returns filed on time
- Collaborate with the quality and EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) departments, drive the necessary programs
- Manage Employee Health Check-up programs and Background verification of all employees
- Conduct regular audits, reviews of the division, contractors / vendors and drive compliance
- Support for Union handling and management
- Support to initiate ER/IR Projects
- Employee data management
- Maintain all the statutory registers, payments and ensure returns filed on time
- Monitor labour law compliance
- Contract labour management including compliance
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance
- Facilitate implementation of worker development programs and continuous improvement programs for employee involvement with production/business
- Develop strong network among shop floor employees
- Employee Engagement - team building, team outing, shopfloor R ; R program, small group activities and other innovative HR practices etc.
